As bottled water becomes increasingly expensive, consumer awareness of its environmental impact also escalates. Combined with the increasing demand in catering and hospitality venues to provide customers, staff and visitors with chilled drinking water, often in high volumes, PHS Waterlogic’s Watermarques and Waterlogic 4 systems provide the ideal solution.

Specifically designed for use in hotels, corporate hospitality and restaurant venues, the Waterlogic 4 mains fed unit and Watermarques system from PHS Waterlogic are able to meet these high volume demands in a safe, hygienic and environmentally friendly manner.

The mains fed nature of the systems makes it possible to dispense large quantities of clean, fresh, chilled water, on demand. By switching from bottled mineral water to mains fed water, a venue can reduce its water procurement costs by up to 90%.

The recently launched Waterlogic 4 unit is able to deliver double the volume and double the purity of water thanks to its in-built UV purification process, producing Class A status drinking water, which is classified as such due to its ability to completely disinfect and remove micro-organisms, such as Cryptosporidium and Pseudomonas aeruginosa, to a 100% effectiveness rating. As a result, the Waterlogic 4 unit is the worlds first POU unit to carry Class A status.

With double the dispensing capability, the Waterlogic 4 provides 200 cups of chilled water per hour making this ideal for any restaurant, canteen or break out area where high volumes are required. In addition, users can also select from chilled sparkling or still water and hot water.

Watermarques offers an extensive range of water dispensers that are fully flexible and customised to provide a specific solution to suit every requirement and venue. Water can be dispensed from the Watermarques unit into Watermarques reusable glass bottles, which are supplied with the systems. The glass, swing-top bottles are available in clear or frosted glass, in a variety of sizes and are an ideal way to serve water in hotel and conferencing meeting rooms.

Far outweighing the benefits of bottled water, the machine can be installed as a freestanding or under the counter model, in each case taking up less room than a store of bottles. As with tap water, water is taken from the main source, filtered, chilled and passed through in-line UV treatment to eradicate all potentially harmful bacteria. The result is environmentally sound, abundant, chilled still and sparkling water which, depending on the venue, can be supplied at a greatly reduced rate or free of charge, in the same way as standard tap water.

Catherine Morgan, Marketing Manager for PHS Waterlogic, commented, “By installing either a Waterlogic 4 unit or Watermarques system and dispensing water as and when needed into reusable glass bottles, water can be served in style. Both systems offer excellent, environmentally friendly credentials which can considerably help to reduce hospitality costs.”
