What is:

Direct Chill

With Direct chill technology there is no water tank, therefore no standing water to provide a breeding ground for bacteria. The unique water purification system works by passing the water through a coiled tube around a chiller unit, which results in a constant supply of cold clear water. Water is purified and chilled in real time providing a constant supply of pure, chilled water.

Ice Bank Technology

Machines are connected to the mains supply and feed through a direct coil to the dispense point. This coil passes through a sealed tank that is pre filled with a coolant liquid. Also passing through this tank alongside the feed water coil, is a small capillary tube containing refrigerant.

The refrigerant maintains the tank temperature and ensures consistent controlled temperature of the dispensed water, typically 6 degrees. The Ice bank tank is insulated to assist the control of the temperature and feed pipe diameter is designed to match required demand.

HC2P Technology

HC2P provides up to double the current cold water capacity (even compared with double tank system). This means that more users can use the machine over a short period of time without the need to leave the machine time to chill water.

The water used to chill the tank actually replaces itself because it is also the drinking water - HC2P is not an ice bath (where water just sits idle) as the chilling reservoir is replaced with fresh water every time water is dispensed thus keeping a constant flow.

Carbon Filtration

Carbon block filters effectively remove chlorine, sediment and volatile organic compounds from water. The filtering process uses activated carbon to eliminate contaminants and impurities using chemical adsorption. The filter has a large surface area, enabling the greatest possible exposure of contaminants to the filter media.

Paper pre-filter

A paper pre-filter is used as a preliminary method of removing larger impurities from the water.

In-line UV

In-line UV treats chilled water at the point of dispense. It is effective at reducing levels of bacteria and deactivates many viruses and cysts including Giardia and Cryptosporidium. Ultraviolet disinfects the water without adding chemicals and does not create new chemical complexes.

In-tank UV

In-tank UV is scientifically proven to be the most effective way to kill bacteria. All water that passes through the cooler is treated with UV within the tank. Ultraviolet disinfects water without adding chemicals or removing any beneficial minerals. Waterlogic water coolers have a unique automatic purification monitoring system that guarantees water quality.

Class A UV

Class A is the ultimate guarantee, designed to purify water and destroy micro-organisms, such as Cryptosporidium and Pseudomonas aeruginosa, to a higher effectiveness rating than class B UV purification. The Waterlogic 4 is the worlds first and only POU unit to carry a Class A, pure water guarantee. Class A and Class B are designated by the ultraviolet dosage. This is measured by the intensity of the lamp and the contact time with the water.

BioCote®

BioCote® is the leading brand in antimicrobial technology. BioCote's innovative silver technology is incorporated into Waterlogics mains-fed water dispensers at the time of manufacture, to inhibit the growth of micro-organisms on the coolers surface. Biocote® effectively reduces the levels of bacteria, minimising the risk of cross contamination. It works in tandem with normal cleaning procedures and acts as an additional line of defence.
